The trend line that keeps up with the market.
Auto SMA draws a simple moving average that recolours by trend and marks the moments price crosses it with signal arrows, so trend stays readable on any chart. Part of the Monematics Basic suite.

Every bar in the window counts the same, and that equal weighting is the whole character of this average. Auto SMA tests each period from 6 to 21 against your symbol and timeframe, keeps whichever has scored best, and draws it over price as a single trend line. Colour carries the reading here: lime when price is trading above the average, red when it has slipped beneath, dark grey for a leg the indicator has already filed as history. Each cross between price and the average takes an arrow, so a flip is visible without hunting for it. Being equally weighted, it is the least excitable of the five averages: one unusual candle moves it very little.
A simple moving average drawn lime, red or grey by the current trend.
The average tracks the price feed on the chart you attach it to.
An arrow marks each cross between price and the average. The line flips colour at the same moment.
A compact status indicator keeps you informed of the indicator's state at a glance, so you never wonder whether it is live.
A floating button hides and shows the dashboard on your chart, so it clears the view when you want the candles alone.
Every input adjusts between a minimum and a maximum rather than a single fixed value, so the indicator can adapt while staying within your bounds.
The dashboard shows the average's current period, for example 14 (SMA), and the price it is applied to. The stability grade and last-signal readouts are Pro-only.

The defaults are ready to go. These ranges just bound how far the indicator can adapt on the chart in front of it.
Lime marks an up-trending leg, red a down-trending leg, and grey a leg of the past trend. The line changes colour as price crosses the average.
