Privacy policy

How Monematics Ltd handles your personal data.

Last updated · 7 August 2026

1. Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Monematics Ltd (company no. 17375549, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom) ('we', 'us', 'our') collects and uses personal data when you use monematics.com and the Monematics indicator suite for MetaTrader 4 and 5.

2. What we collect

We collect only the personal data needed to run the service. We do not buy data, and we do not run third-party advertising on our site.

  • Account information: the email address and name you provide when you sign in (handled by our authentication provider, Clerk).
  • Subscription and billing information: your plan, payment status and billing history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Licence information: your licence key and the status of the key generated for your account (handled by our licensing provider, Keygen).
  • Licence validation: when the Suite runs on your MetaTrader terminal, the License Manager contacts our licensing provider to confirm your licence is valid. This transmits your licence key and a fingerprint derived from your MT4/MT5 account login and broker server. It does not transmit your positions, balance or trade history, and the Suite does not access or trade your account.
  • Technical data: basic details such as IP address and browser information used to secure the service and process payments.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes.

  • To provide and operate your subscription and activate your licence.
  • To process payments and manage billing.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

4. Legal bases

Under UK data protection law we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the subscription you have asked for), our legitimate interests (operating and securing the service), your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with the processors needed to run the service, and only to the extent they need it.

  • Clerk: authentication and account management.
  • Stripe: payment processing, billing and subscription management.
  • Keygen: licence issuance and validation.
  • OVHcloud: hosting of the Site and our database.
  • Cloudflare: delivery and protection of the Site.
  • If Monematics Ltd is acquired by or merges with another company, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner, who must use it in line with this policy.
  • We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors operate outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses put in place by those processors.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep account and subscription records for as long as your account is active, plus the retention periods required by law and for billing and tax purposes. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirements.

8. Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.

9. Cookies

We use only the essential cookies and local storage required for authentication, payment and site security, set by Clerk, Stripe and our content delivery provider. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, restrict access to personal data to those who need it, and rely on the security measures of our processors (Clerk, Stripe, Keygen, OVHcloud and Cloudflare) for the data they hold. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office in line with our legal obligations, including within 72 hours where required.

11. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, with the date of the last update shown below.
