Smooth enough to ignore the noise.
Auto SMMA draws a smoothed moving average that recolours by trend and marks the moments price crosses it with signal arrows, so only a real change of direction moves the line. Part of the Monematics Basic suite.

Most averages concentrate their weight on recent bars. Auto SMMA does the opposite: each new bar's influence is spread across the entire window, which makes it the smoothest line in the family and the hardest for a single spike to bend. It sweeps from 6 up to 21 and settles on the period that reads your chart best. Lime marks price above the line, red marks it below, and dark grey marks a trend that has since ended. An arrow sits on every crossover. If you would rather see fewer, cleaner flips than the earliest possible one, this is the average to reach for.
A smoothed moving average drawn lime, red or grey by the current trend.
The average tracks the price feed on the chart you attach it to.
An arrow marks each cross between price and the average. The line flips colour at the same moment.
A compact status indicator keeps you informed of the indicator's state at a glance, so you never wonder whether it is live.
A floating button hides and shows the dashboard on your chart, so it clears the view when you want the candles alone.
Every input adjusts between a minimum and a maximum rather than a single fixed value, so the indicator can adapt while staying within your bounds.
The dashboard shows the average's current period, for example 14 (SMMA), and the price it is applied to. The stability grade and last-signal readouts are Pro-only.

The defaults are ready to go. These ranges just bound how far the indicator can adapt on the chart in front of it.
Lime marks an up-trending leg, red a down-trending leg, and grey a leg of the past trend. The line changes colour as price crosses the average.
